Jerry Wooten Home In the News

Operation Code Vet has been hard at work since late in 2020 to rebuild the home of Air Force veteran Jerry Wooten and his wife. The Wootens’ home caught fire when a shed next door went up in flames. The Wootens didn’t have homeowners insurance, and the home was a total loss. After complaints about the home were called in to Hillsborough County Code Enforcement, instead of writing up code violations plans were drafted to help the Wootens restore their home to a livable condition. Operation Code Vet has worked diligently to get many aspects of the home’s repairs donated.
